12 years have passed since their last film appearance with "Space Travel" and they have been waiting for their moment of glory since 2004, the year in which they were definitively bought by Disney. Now actor Jason Segel, together with British screenwriter and director Nicholas Stoller, has wanted to bring them back to life to involve them in a fantastic new adventure. A project strongly desired by Segel who wrote and edited the screenplay and who will himself be present in the cast as the protagonist. The direction instead was entrusted to the unknown James Bobin. The film will be full of songs and ballets in perfect Disney style in which Jason Segel and Amy Adams, in the movie Mary, seem to have a lot of fun. Characters already known, with their characters and their well-defined features, and a new entry, Walter who will have to work a little to curry favor with the public who are always a bit reluctant when it comes to news. A challenge that of Segel against those who believed the Muppets no longer suited to the big screen and the needs of the public, against those who considered their irony now outdated and the Muppets themselves a distant memory.
