The new Metroid Dread video game footage was quickly deleted

Nintendo's Japanese Twitter account briefly uploaded an unreleased clip of the upcoming Metroid Dread that showed elements recreated from the Metroid ending: Samus Returns.

The now-removed clip featured scenes recreated from the finale of developer MercurySteam's previous game, the 3 2017DS remake of the Game Boy's Metroid II: Return of Samus.

It may have been deleted quickly, but the internet never forgets! @itsa_me_gameboy on Twitter archived the clip - check it out below if you agree with potential spoilers:

Someone also found the same footage on Nintendo's Japanese YouTube account set to unlisted (at a much higher quality, of course). Again, a little spoiler warning if you're in a Metroid Dread information blackout:
