The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards honor “Encanto”, “SpongeBob” in the Slimerrific ceremony

Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2022 It was an epic night filled with 1.000 record-breaking slimings on Saturday April 9th ​​at 19:30 pm. (ET / PT), live from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. Hosted by actress Miranda Cosgrove and NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski, the 2022 Awards saw breathtaking performances, celebrity appearances and thrilling surprises!

As for the prizes themselves, Encanto Disney danced away with the award for favorite animated film, while Nickelodeon's evergreen series SpongeBob SquarePants won his astounding 19th award for favorite cartoon, the 14th in a row! And blockbuster star Scarlett Johansson was named Favorite Voice in an animated film for her portrayal of Ash in Song 2 by Universal-Illumination.

Highlights of the celebration included:

• A special appearance by the First Lady of the United States, Dr. Jill Biden, speaking about the resilience of today's younger generation, especially the children of military and veterans, and encourages young Americans to continue to grow, learn and give back to their communities.
• Kid Cudi's Medley performances of his new single "Stars in the Sky" (watch the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 music video here!) And the smash hit "Pursuit of Happiness" as well as Jack Harlow with his chart-topping success "Industry Baby" and the latest singles from her upcoming album Come Home the Kids Miss You, "Nail Tech" and "First Class".
