The saga of "Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal"
Spear and Fang continue their journey together with five brand new episodes of Primal by Genndy Tartakovsky, premieres Sunday, Oct.4 at 23:30 PM ET / PT on Adult Swim.
Combining artistry, emotion and all-out action, the series was also renewed for a second season for another 10 episodes. From the mind of Genndy Tartakovsky, the visionary creator of the Emmy Award-winning series Samurai Jack, comes a new tale that follows a caveman at the start of human evolution as he makes an unlikely friendship with a near-extinct dinosaur.
With suspense, fear, excitement, love and fear without a single word of dialogue, the series is a painting that comes to life, relying solely on music and graphic imagery to tell the story of two unlikely allies as they navigate a treacherous world. After bonding with unfortunate tragedies, they seem to become each other's only hope of survival against a common enemy.
Primal by Genndy Tartakovsky was created by Tartakovsky (Dexter's laboratory, Samurai Jack) under the artistic direction of Scott Wills (The show Ren & Stimpy, Samurai Jack) and musical composition by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Samurai Jack).
