The Simpsons reunite in the Disney + Marvel-themed short "The Good, the Bart and the Loki"

Today, Disney + announced The good, the Bart and the Loki, a new Marvel-themed short film from The Simpsons premiered on Wednesday 7 July. The mashup comes in the wake of the premiere of the streamer's latest Marvel live-action series, Loki.

In the new short film coming exclusively to Disney +, Loki is banished from Asgard once again and must face his toughest opponents: the Simpsons and Springfield's most powerful heroes. The God of Mischief joins Bart Simpson in the latest crossover event that pays homage to the Marvel Cinematic Universe of superheroes and villains.

MCU star Tom Hiddleston returns as the voice of Loki in the new animated short. The god of evil will be seen alongside many fan favorite characters of The Simpsons.

The good, the Bart and the Loki is the second in a series of Disney + short films by Thim Simpson that highlight the main brands and titles of the service. The previously released Star Wars- short theme Maggie Simpson in The Force Awakens from Her Nap is now streaming on Disney +.
