The voice actors of the animated series "Krapopolis" by Dan Harmon

Actors Hannah Waddingham, Richard Ayoade, Matt Berry, Pam Murphy and Duncan Trussell have joined the cast of voice actors from Krapopolis, FOX's new animated comedy set in mythical Ancient Greece, from Emmy Award-winning creator Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty). The animated series tells of an imperfect family of humans, gods and monsters who try to manage one of the first cities in the world without killing each other.

Ayoade voices "Tyrannis", the mortal son of a goddess. He is the benevolent king of Krapopolis trying to make do in a city that lives up to his name. Waddingham plays "Deliria", the mother of Tyrannis, goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices. Within her extended Olympic family - forged in patricide and infidelity - she is known as the trash one. Berry is “Shlub”, the father of Tyrannis, a mantitaurus (half centaur [horse + human], half manticore [lion + human + scorpion]). He is hypersexual and underemployed, claims to be an artist and has literally never paid anything, in any sense of the word, for his entire life. Murphy voices "Stupendous", Tyrannis' half-sister, daughter of Deliria and a Cyclops. Trussell plays "Hippocampus", Tyrannis' half-brother, son of Shlub and a mermaid - and, of course, a big mess, biologically speaking.

The series is a consequence of the direct animation deal that Harmon and FOX Entertainment unveiled last year. Entirely owned and funded by FOX Entertainment and produced by FOX Emmy Award-winning animation studio Bento Box Entertainment, the project is also the first series to move forward under FOX's direct broadcast model. Furthermore, Krapopolis will serve as the first FOX / Bento Box animated series curated entirely on the blockchain.

The company will launch a dedicated marketplace for Krapopolis which will curate and sell digital goods, ranging from NFTs to unique characters and wallpapers and GIFs, as well as tokens that provide exclusive social experiences to engage and reward super fans. An NFT of the Krapopolis the cast image is coined on the Eluvio content blockchain with the token metadata. FOX Corp. announced a strategic investment in the platform in late August.

Writer / producer / animator Jordan Young has been named executive producer / showrunner. Young will work under Harmon's supervision and manage the series' daily activities.
