“Lightyear” the new Disney Pixar animated film will be released in June 2022
Lightyear - The true story of Buzz is the new action adventure that tells the origins of Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy of Toy Story, featuring the legendary Space Ranger who would win over generations of fans. The new original Disney and Pixar feature film will arrive in 2022.
Chris Evans (Dinner with crime - Knives Out, Avengers: Endgame) lends his voice to Buzz in the original version of the film. "The phrase 'a dream come true' is often used, but it had never meant so much in my life”Says Evans. "Anyone who knows me knows how deeply I love animated films. I can't believe I can be part of the Pixar family and work with these truly brilliant artists who tell stories like no other. Seeing them work is nothing short of magical. I pinch myself every day".
Lightyear - The true story of Buzz is directed by Angus MacLane, Annie Award-winning director and veteran Pixar animator, who co-directed Looking for Dory 2016. The film is produced by Galyn Susman (the short Toy Story: A whole other world).
