Scooby-Doo will scare with a new Halloween movie
Looks like Scooby-Doo fans will have a special gift for next Halloween. Warner Bros. Animation is preparing a new DVD titled Happy Halloween Scooby Doo, in which the ghostbusters team meets Elvira, the Master of Darkness (Cassandra Peterson) and scientist Bill Nye. In this new adventure they will fight together against Batman's famous super villain enemy The Scarecrow.
The 2D animated film is written, directed and produced by animation veteran Maxwell Atom, best known as the creator of The Cartoon Network. Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy e Evil Con Carne and executive producer of Disney Channel Fish Hooks. The project includes the series' famous voice cast with Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo / Fred Jones, Gray Griffin as Daphne Blake, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers and Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley.

With faux monsters and candy galore, Halloween is heaven for the greedy and hungry kids who go from door to door asking for candy. But this year, their sweet vacation turns sour when the neighborhood pumpkin becomes infected with toxic slime, creating a giant pumpkin that crushes everything in its path. It is up to Scooby-Doo and the gang as they team up with their friends, Bill Nye the Science Guy and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, to solve this mystery of gigantic proportions and save Crystal Cove!
