English subtitled trailer for World Trigger season XNUMX anime, streaming

Toei Animation has released a new subtitled trailer and commercial for the third season of the anime World Trigger at Comic Con in New York.


The panel at New York Comic Con also revealed that the English dub of the anime's second season is in production and Toei Animation expects the dub to be completed by the end of the year. Ian Sinclair joins the English dub cast as Gatlin.


The third season will premiere on October 9th onwards Asahi TV the NUMAnimation programming block and will air Saturdays at 1:30 The Rock Band Kami wa Saikoro or Furanai returns to perform the opening theme "Time Factor", while the Fantastic Youth duo performs the closing theme "Ungai Dōkei" (Yearning to Be Above the Clouds).

New cast members for season three include Ryota takeuchi like Mikhail Kronin and Mama Noto like Yuri Rindo.

Crunchyroll will stream the new season starting this weekend.

Daisuke Ashihara debuted on the manga World Trigger in the magazine  Weekly Shonen Jump in 2013. The manga went on hiatus in November 2016 due to Ashihara's poor physical health, and returned to the magazine in October 2018 for five issues before moving on to the magazine. Jump SQ of the  Shueisha in December 2018.

Viz Average e MANGA More both publish the series simultaneously in English in digital format. Viz Average also publishes the manga in print version.

The manga inspired two television anime in 2014 and 2015. The second season of the anime premiered on January 9 and ran for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

The manga is inspiring a play that will be staged at Tokyo's Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball from November 19-28 and Osaka's Sankei Hall Breeze from December 2-5.
