Trailer for "Back to the Outback - Back to Nature" on Netflix

Netflix has released the official trailer and key art for the upcoming original animated film Back to the Outback - Back to nature. Fresh from the Australian Wildlife Reserve security bureau, the spot features the latest known footage of global cuteness icon Pretty Boy before he was blatantly kidnapped by a koala by a gang of fatal fauna! The re-wild comedy-adventure for the whole family debuts on December 10th.

Tired of being locked up in a reptile house where humans gape at them as if they were monsters, a messy group of Australia's deadliest creatures plan a daring escape from their Outback zoo, a place where they will adapt without being judged by their scales and fangs. Leading the group is Maddie (Isla Fisher), a venomous snake with a heart of gold, who joins the confident lizard Thorny Devil Zoe (Miranda Tapsell), the hairy and enamored spider Frank (Guy Pearce) and the sensitive scorpion. Nigel (Angus Imrie).

… But when their nemesis - Pretty Boy (Tim Minchin), a cute but hateful koala - unexpectedly joins their escape, Maddie and the gang have no choice but to take him with them. Thus begins a hilarious and exhilarating journey through Australia, as they are chased by zoo keeper Chaz (Eric Bana) and his adventure-seeking son, Chazzie (Diesel La Torraca).

Back to the Outback - Back to nature also features the voices of Rachel House, Keith Urban, Celeste Barber, Wayne Knight, Lachlan Power and Jacki Weaver. The film is directed by Clar Knight and Harry Cripps, written by Cripps from a story created with Gregory Lessans. The Netflix Original feature is powered by Reel FX (SCOBO!, The book of life).
