VIEW Conference in Italy announces incredible guests for the 2022 edition
The VIEW Conference, based in Turin, Italy, has announced new details on its 23rd edition to be held from 16 to 21 October this year. According to the organizers of the event, most of the speakers will attend in person. Among the latest animation luminaries expected at the event this year are Sony Pictures Animation president Kristine Belson, Paramount Pictures Animation and Nickelodeon Animation president Ramsey Naito and Cartoon Saloon co-founder Nora Twomey (director of My father's dragon e The head of the family) and writer-director Chris Williams (The beast of the sea, Moana, the great hero 6 ), director-producer Peter Ramsey (Lost Ollie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) and Shannon Tindle (Lost Ollie, Kubo and the two ropes).

Mark Hewis, head of the Aardman Academy, also holds an unmissable workshop titled “The Art of Stop Motion Production. " Technical artist and gaming guru Simon Verstraete conducts a cutting-edge seminar on procedural concepts with SideFX Houdini and Unreal Engine 5.
This year's VIEW Conference features a special track dedicated to the Metaverse, bringing together some of the leading thinkers in this rapidly evolving field and led by Marc Petit, vice president and general manager of the Unreal Engine at Epic Games. Among the speakers Julien Fournié, CEO, and Jean Paul Cauvin, COO, of Julien Fournié Haute Couture. Explorers of the Metaverse, will be on stage in front of a live audience to discuss their groundbreaking work with PUBG Studios and present their vision of how the arts can combine in the Metaverse. Guidi Quaroni, Adobe's senior director of engineering, 3D and immersive, also spoke.
Housemarque's Risto Jankkila and Sharman Jagadeesan will also be attending the VIEW Conference this year, with the unveiling of the roguelike sci-fi shooter game Return.
