The cast and choreographer of “Mira, Royal Detective” share Diwali celebrations!

The wonderful talents behind Disney's hit animated series inspired by Indian culture Mira, Royal Detective, they (virtually) got together to record a special video message for fans, talking about the upcoming Diwali holiday and what it means to them.

The characteristics of the video Kal Penn (Mikku's voice), Utkarsh Ambudkar (voice of Chikku), Aasif mandvi (voice of Mira's father, Sahil), karen david (voice of Shilpa, Ashima and Rubi), Parvesh Cheena (voice of Manish), Sonal Shah (Poonam's voice) e Leela Ladnier (voice of Mira).

“Diwali means honoring the light over the dark and loving loved ones,” explains Ladnier in the video - a message that people of all cultures and beliefs can enjoy as winter days get shorter at the end of a busy year.

Along with the special holiday message, the channel also featured a fun dance tutorial with Mira series choreographer Nakul Dev Mahajan (So you think you can dance ?, The Fresh Beat Band), which shows some of the young detective's favorite dance moves from the show, including some of the episodes of Diwali, which is currently airing on Disney Channel and Disney Junior.

In the Diwali themed episode of Mira, Royal Detective, "The Great Diwali Mystery", Mira must track down the missing oil used to light traditional lamps across the city to save the Diwali celebration. The beautiful song “Diwali” was written and produced by Matthew Tishler and Jeannie Lurie (songwriters of the series) and the dance routine was choreographed by Nakul Dev Mahajan (choreographer / dance consultant).

The Diwali festival, which typically lasts for five days, begins this Saturday, November 14th.
