Xilam collaborates with Youku of Alibaba for the animated series "Lupine's Tales"
French Oscar-nominated animation studio Xilam Animation is partnering with Alibaba Group's video streaming platform Youku to co-produce its new 2D and 3D preschool animated series. "Lupine's Tales"(Lupine's Stories) (78 x 7 '), which is due to air in 2021. To support the series, Xilam and Youku will also collaborate to develop a range of products for the Chinese market, with an initial focus on educational products.

Targeting for a preschool audience, "Lupine's Tales"(Lupine's stories) follows a wolf cub who dreams of being like the heroes of storybooks that he admires and passes from one tale to another to live their adventures across all continents and ages. But the fiery Lupine is far from perfect, and it's not always easy for him to get to that "happily ever after" - fortunately he can count on the narrator's help and his good heart to learn from his mistakes.
Alibaba will retain all distribution and merchandising rights "Lupine's Tales"(Lupine's stories) in mainland China and Xilam will manage the rest of the world.
