The School Rumble animated series is based on Jin Kobayashi's manga comic published by Kodansha, between 2002 and 2008. The TV series was created by Studio Comet for a total of 26 episodes of 25 minutes each.
The typically shojo story tells the school and love affairs of three boys, with a completely different personality. On the one hand, Harima Kenji, a long-time repeater, arrogant and violent, but who actually hides his romantic and sweet soul behind his pair of dark glasses. Later we find the protagonist Tenma Tsukamoto, as beautiful as clumsy and with her head in the clouds because she only thinks of Karasuma Oji, a schoolmate of hers, who instead has his mind turned solely to food. Harima Kenji is also in love with Tenma and this creates a series of embarrassing and comical situations, which feed a story full of twists and gripping plots.
