Annie Awards: "Soul", "Wolfwalkers" og "Hilda" får flest sejre
ASIFA-Hollywoods 48. udgave annie priser, til ære for den samlede ekspertise og individuelle præstationer i animation på tværs af 36 kategorier, blev afholdt i aften som en live streaming virtuel ceremoni denne fredag den 16. april. sæsonens favoritter Soul (syv sejre, inklusive bedste funktion) e Ulvevandrere (fem, inklusive bedste uafhængige film) - som i år fik 10 nomineringer hver; streaming-serier inspireret af grafiske romaner Hilde (tre) og Primal af Genndy Tartakovsky (To).
Den virtuelle prisudstilling udnyttede sit maksimale format med livlige præsentanter som Josh Gad, Matthew Rhys, Philippa Soo, Eva Whittaker, Patrick Warburton, komponist Michael Giacchino og instruktører Sergio Pablos, Jill Culton, Nora Twomey og Matthew A. Cherry. Mange af prisvinderne holdt sjove og rørende acceptstaler, især Cartoon Saloon-teamet, der stjal showet med deres kloge og kreative point. Hats off for alle på ASIFA for at producere et så sjovt og tilfredsstillende virtuelt show. Selvfølgelig kan vi ikke vente med at vende tilbage til liveversionen af denne årlige begivenhed i 2022 med krydsede fingre.
