PAPER BABIES - ELF THORFINN

You can download this paper doll for free and play it after making it foldable with wire and glue.

Follow these steps

rEQUIRED: Printer, A4 sheet of paper, scissors, glue, wire, an elastic band

1) Click on the image and save it on your computer

2) Print the image on an A4 sheet (better if it's a sturdy drawing sheet)

3) Cut out the silhouettes of the Elf (with the others you will do your hair) and fold the sheet following the dotted line, making sure that the front and the back match perfectly (you can check it against the light on the window glass)

4) Cut out the character, but don't cut the part of the fold yet, along the left arm.

5) Open the cut out template

6) Take 3 pieces of wire: with a single piece shape the arms, with the other two shape the two legs including the bust and head

7) Glue on both sides and place the wire

8) Close according to the dotted line of the fold, making sure that the wire does not come out of the shape (keep it as much as possible inside) and press it with your fingers so that the glue adheres well to the paper and the wire.

9) Now you can also cut out the piece of the fold along the arm.

10) Let it dry for a few minutes, under a pile of books that keep it pressed.

Now let's stick the hair

1) Take the part of the hair that we printed, fold it and glue it without the wire.

2) Glue the hair to the back of the figure

Now let's build the bow, the arrows and the quiver

1) Click on the image and save it to your computer, then print it on an A4 sheet (better if it's a sturdy drawing sheet)

2) For the quiver just cut it out, fold the flaps and glue them on the back

3) Once dried, you can glue it on the back of the Elf along the belt line, being careful to lift the hair.

4) For the arrows you will have to have a lot of patience because it is a precision work. First you need to peel the wire from the plastic. Spread the glue on the template and place the wire in the center, then close the template. Press it with your fingers so that the glue adheres well to the paper and wire.

5) The same goes for the bow. In this case it will be good to insert two or three pieces of wire in the center, then close the shape and let it dry while keeping it pressed

6) Once dried, you can shape the arch

7) With the blade of the scissors make a small hole at the two ends of the bow, between the two pieces of wire and insert an elastic that will serve as a rope.

8) I don't guarantee you will be able to shoot the arrows, however you can always try.

9) You just have to play and ... Good fun!!!
