Eureka Seven is a Japanese anime produced by the Japanese studios of BONES, which is currently broadcast on Rai 4 starting from April 8, 2010 published by Dynit. Taken from the manga of the same name by Jinsei Kataoka and Kazuma Kondo, it was published in Italy by Panini Comics.
It is the story of Renton Thurston - a 14-year-old teenager, mindful of the heroic gesture of his father the scientist Adrock Thurston, who sacrificed his life to save the earth. Tired of the usual everyday routine, he would like to live like the reffers group of Gekko State, led by the legendary Holland. His life will change radically when a Nirvash falls on his house, from which Eureka emerges, a beautiful mysterious and fascinating girl with whom Renton falls in love. Thanks to the technology inherited from his grandfather and father, the boy is able to repair the robot and fight alongside Eureka. So he is drafted into the Gekko State team. The problems for Renton are not over as he will have to prove to the members of the group that he has the maturity to be able to compete with their technical skills, in piloting the giant robots. Mocked by everyone, his sense of frustration is such that he would like to leave the group, but Eureka's presence and the strong feeling he has for her prevents him from leaving.
