The illusionist is a stage animal destined for extinction. Rock stars arrive to steal the show and he is forced to accept the sad confinement in suburban theaters, bars, cafes and outdoor parties. But, one evening, while performing in a small pub on the Scottish coast, he meets Alice, a young girl who will change her life forever. As she watches him do his numbers in front of the villagers, Alice believes the illusionist's tricks are true magic. She follows him to Edinburgh. Together they will embark on a magical journey of discovery.
