Musician Dave Neville desperately tries to write a hit song for Jett Records, owned by smart business man Ian Hawk. But it happens that Dave runs into three squirrels that invade his home, literally turning his private life and his job upside down. But Alvin, Simon and Theodore are not just any squirrels, but the Chipmunks, and they talk, dance and sing and Dave is about to make them pop stars acclaimed by crowds around the world! Not all Chipmunks come to harm and Dave soon realizes how miserable his life can be without them.
