The illusionist is a show profession that is going to disappear. In its place come the rock singers who take all the attention, while the magician in spite of himself has to be content with performing like a vagabond in small suburban theaters, bars, cafes and outdoor parties. One day, during a little show in a bar on the Scottish coast, he meets Alice, a little girl who will change her life. As she scrutinizes her movements in front of the audience, Alice becomes convinced that the illusionist's tricks are true magic. She follows him to Edinburgh. Together they will embark on a magical journey of discovery.
