The Japanese cartoon The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, is based on the book of the same name by Mark Twain written in 1876, which has now become a classic of children's literature. The series tells the adventures of little Tom, a restless boy who lives with his aunt Polly, in a village on the banks of the Mississippi River. Together with his tramp friend Huck Finn, they will experience funny and dangerous situations. Tom is in love with the beautiful little girl named Becky, daughter of her country's doctor. Although his irrepressible curiosity leads him to make a lot of trouble, by Tom Sawyer will prove to be of great help to the whole small community.
