The cartoon Angie girl (original title Joho heika no petite Angie) was broadcast for the first time on Italia 1 in 1982. Consisting of 26 episodes each lasting 24 minutes, it was produced by Nippon Animation between 1977 and 1978. The story is set in Victorian London in the second half of the 800th century and features Angie, a young blonde girl, characterized by a long polka dot skirt.
