Born from the creativity of Jay Stephen, this Cartoon Network Original is inspired by the Hanna-Barbera TV series of the 60s such as Johnny Quest, The Herculoids and Scooby-Doo.
Premise: cryptozoology is a branch of zoology that deals with the study of animal species that are presumed to exist through circumstantial evidence or species that are generally considered extinct, but of which there have been some possible sightings. Excellent starting point for the stories of a cartoon mix of adventure and mystery!

Zac Saturday and his parents - genius inventor Doc and seasoned archaeologist Drew - form the Secret Saturdays team, a family of cryptozoological scientists. Zac leads a life that ordinary 11-year-olds, his peers, can only dream of. He grew up in the Indonesian rainforests and in the ice caves of Antarctica, he spends his days discovering ancient legends and shares his home with a furry beast: Fiskerton, the adoptive “little brother” of over 2 meters.

The Secret Saturdays travel the world and fight against the evil Argost (famous unscrupulous TV presenter, always on the hunt for scoops, who hides his diabolical projects behind the show Weird World) to keep the secret of the existence of the Cryptids (including the Cryptids: the Yeti and the Lochness Monster). The mission of the Saturdays is to thus protect both the human race and these mythical creatures, before they are discovered by humans or destroyed by the curse that hangs over them. In this comedy-action TV series, adventures are the order of the day: our heroes explore enchanted landscapes and ancient temples, wandering from the hot Gobi desert to the freezing Mariana Trench.

The Saturdays and their exotic Cryptid "little animals" (often treated as pets), in addition to being a close-knit team of heroes, are above all a family that, between missions to accomplish and legendary mysteries, tries to overcome even small everyday problems and family quarrels.
