Switzerland lives in the rarefied neutrality that Europe breathes on the eve of the Second World War. Lundi is a little boy like many others in the Swiss valleys, when he finds a little girl in the Alps who seems abandoned, accompanied by a small parrot who keeps repeating the words "Alpen Rose". The child, who is actually called Alicia, is renamed by Lundi with the name of Jeudi, and becomes in effect a little sister of the boy. Years pass, the war really breaks out in the end, and Jeudi - Alicia decides to embark on a journey in search of her origins. The little girl actually survived a plane crash during a transfer of her family from Austria: a journey in which, accompanied by Lundi, she will find herself facing the plots of the evil Count De Gulmont, who would like to grab the inheritance of Alicia, and who will finally take her to Vienna where, having discovered the truth about her origins, she will be able to appropriate her family's heritage, and marry her beloved Lundi who never abandoned her, continuing to look for her even after the daring escape that separated them before arriving in the Austrian capital ..
