is the color of the ninth edition of Naples COMICON, the international comics and animation show that will take place this year from 27 to 29 April 2007 as usual in the extraordinary location of the Castel Sant'Elmo of Naples. More than one hundred thousand spectators in total, as many as fifteen host countries, various major exhibitions of famous personalities acclaimed by the general public, such as those dedicated to Lorenzo Mattotti, Igort, Milo Manara, Enki Bilal, José Muñoz: after eight high-level editions cultural and increasingly successful nationally and internationally, Naples COMICON changes its date, placing itself after the International Festival de la Bande Dessinée of Angoulême (January) and immediately after Salò Internacional del Còmic Barcelona (April), two historic European festivals with which the collaborations and synergies of Napoli COMICON become more intense and profitable year after year. The Naples COMICON billboard is enriched, as usual, with the Cosplay competition, the Future Future exhibition that interprets the new trends in the world of Italian comics and presents the best that is shaken on the national scene, the IMAGO competition that involves schools , the ComiconOFF events which will take place outside the walls of the Castle and which will animate cultural centers, institutions and bodies of the regional territory. And again: film previews and premieres, great international guests, round tables, meetings with the main publishing houses in the sector, thematic exhibitions and monographic exhibition events on the major artists of the world comics scene, under the banner of the metaphorical power of Blue.
