History
Spider-Man Far from Home, is an American superhero film inspired by the famous comic by Spider-Man (Spider-Man) created by Stan Lee for Marvel Comics. The film was directed by director Jon Watts and released in 2019. It is the 23rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it is the second Spider-Man work played by Tom Holland in this universe after Spider-Man: Homecoming, of the same director, released in 2017.
The story begins shortly after the events of the film Avengers: Endgame
where we find Peter Parker deeply shocked and saddened by the death of his mentor Tony Stark. Peter goes on a school trip to Europe with his friends. But his journey will become a spectacular adventure when Nick Fury, the secret agent of the SHIELD, instructs him to team up with Mysterio, an elemental expert who claims to be from another dimension. Peter Parker will discover the terrible consequences of Thanos' clanging fingers: the existence of the multiverse, that is, several different temporal realities. From the multiverse come the Elementals, creatures capable of controlling things like fire, water, earth and air.
In Ixtenco, Mexico, Nick Fury and Maria Hill investigate an artificial storm and then confront the Earth Elemental. Powerless, they are saved by the arrival of Quentin Beck. A few weeks after defeating Thanos alongside the Avengers Avengers, Peter Parker is still very shaken like many other students who have been missing for 5 years. The school is planning a two-week summer trip to Europe, where Peter Parker, still upset by Tony Stark's death, plans to reveal his feelings towards his classmate MJ. During a homeless fundraiser organized by his Aunt May, Parker is told through Happy Hogan that he will be contacted by Nick Fury, but Parker chooses to ignore the call and forget for a while that he is a superhero. In Venice, during the trip, Parker and his friends are among the people attacked by the Elemental Water, which devastates the city. Beck arrives and destroys the creature while Parker tries to help him. Fury forces Parker to meet and offers him a pair of Tony Stark's glasses, equipped with EDITH artificial intelligence, which has access to all the Stark Industries databases and controls a large amount of orbital weapons. Fury takes Parker to a SHIELD base where he finds Beck, Beck states that the Elementals have killed his family and that he comes from a different reality, one of many in the multiverse. Parker rejects Nick Fury's invitation to step in as Spider-Man, but Fury secretly redirects the route of the school trip to Prague, where a new attack by the Elemental Fire is expected.
