After more than twenty years from the realization by Pixar Animation Studios of Toy Story - The World of Toys, the world's first computer animated feature, the protagonists of the unforgettable Disney Pixar film return to the first special contents of Toy Story 4, in Italian cinemas from June 27, 2019.
Directed by Josh Cooley, produced by Jonas Rivera and Mark Nielsen, Toy Story 4 sees Woody and Buzz grapple with a journey in the company of old and new friends and unexpected returns.
Woody has always known his place in the world and his priority has always been taking care of his baby, whether it was Andy or Bonnie. When Forky, Bonnie's new school project turned into a toy, calls itself "junk" and not a toy, Woody decides to show him the positives of this new life. But when Bonnie takes the whole toy gang with her on a trip with her family, Woody makes an unexpected detour, which leads him to find his long-missing friend, Bo Peep. After spending years on his own, Bo's adventurous spirit and life on the road have ruined her porcelain. Woody and Bo will find that their respective toy lives are now polar opposites, but soon they will realize that this is the least of their problems.

With Toy Story 4 we want to give a new impulse to the summer season, for this reason we have set the release in our cinemas for the second half of June. This is an important step that allows us to distribute our film offering throughout the year, with the common goal of having a single 12-month season .
"Like many, I too had thought that with Toy Story 3 the story would end"says director Josh Cooley."And indeed Woody's story with Andy ended. But, as happens in real life, every ending is actually a new beginning. Woody's life in a new bedroom, with new toys and a new baby is something we've never seen before. We wondered what it would be like and from this question a new story began to come to life that deserved to be explored".
"The world of Toy Story is based on the idea that everything has its own purpose"explains Cooley."The purpose of a toy is to be there for your baby. But what happens with those toys that are born from the combination of other objects? Forky is a disposable spoon-fork that Bonnie has turned into a toy and which as a result is now experiencing a crisis: she wants to fulfill her purpose as a cutlery, but now she also has a new purpose as a toy".
The new DisneyoPixar Toy Story 4 movie, in Italian cinemas from June 27th, will see the great return of Bo Peep, the friend of Woody, Buzz and the toy gang. Bo and Woody haven't seen each other in years despite having always had a very special bond. Over time Bo has chipped and discolored but behind its delicate porcelain exterior hides a lot of strength and sarcasm. In this new chapter the audience will discover that Bo is also a free spirit in search of adventures, perfectly at ease "on the road". When she and Woody find themselves in unexpected circumstances, they will find that their respective toy lives are now polar opposites.

American actress Annie Potts returns to lend her voice to Bo Peep in the original version of the film. "She is modern, independent, capable and confident," says Potts. "Bo is written and conceived as a character capable of inspiring audiences: she has endured the ups and downs of life with grace. In 1995 Toy Story - The World of Toys revolutionized animated cinema as the first feature film entirely made with computer graphics.
