"Ron - A friend out of program" special event a preview at Alice in the city

Ron - An Unscheduled Friend will be presented as a special preview event at Alice nella Città on October 15th. The new animated adventure, by 20th Century Studios and Locksmith Animation, will arrive on October 21 in Italian cinemas, distributed by The Walt Disney Company Italia.

For the occasion, the cast of Italian voices will parade on the red carpet: the author, actor, comedian, musician, singer, television host, radio and cartoonist Lillo who lends his voice to Ron; actor Miguel Gobbo Diaz voiced by Marc; the creators DinsiemE (Erick and Dominick) voicing Ava's B-Bot (Erick) and Alice's B-Bot Invincible and Alice's B-Bot respectively.

Lillo Petrolo aka Lillo, frequents TV, cinema and dubbing, passing from comics, radio and theater, plays and sings mainly rock. And very often, in addition to being an interpreter, he is also the author of texts and scripts. He has received several awards, and among the most important, the Nino Manfredi Special Award at the Nastri d'Argento 2015 for Comedy, the Nastri d'Argento Special Award as supporting actor for the film "La Grande Bellezza", the Flaiano Award and the Satire Award for Radio with the broadcast "610 - SEIUNOZERO" (broadcast since 2003 on the national broadcaster RAI RADIO2), the Flaiano Award for the leading role for the Musical, in the Italian version of "School of Rock" by A. Lloyd Webber. Fresh from the success of "LOL - Who laughs is out", he is about to start shooting his second film, of which he is also co-author.

Miguel Gobbo Diaz is a young Italian actor who made his debut in 2012 in the series “Il Commissario Rex”. Since then he has acted in several theatrical performances and has been the protagonist of short films and films such as “La grande rabbia”. Since 2018 he is one of the main characters of the TV series "Half Black".

The cast of Italian voices sees the extraordinary participation of DinsiemE, a young couple formed by Erick and Dominick, creators loved by the youngest who in a short time have reached over 2 million followers on social networks thanks to their hilarious videos and their irresistible adventures.

Ron - An Unscheduled Friend is the story of Barney, an awkward middle school student, and Ron, his new technological device that walks, talks, connects and is supposed to be his "best friend out of the box". In the age of social media, Ron's hilarious malfunctions launch the two on an action-packed journey where the boy and the robot come to terms with the wonderful confusion of true friendship.

Ron - An Unscheduled Friend is directed by Sarah Smith and Pixar veteran Jean-Philippe Vine, and co-directed by Octavio E. Rodriguez; the screenplay is written by Peter Baynham & Smith. The film is produced by Julie Lockhart, also co-founder of Locksmith, and Lara Breay, while Locksmith president Elisabeth Murdoch, Smith and Baynham are executive producers.
