Yamato Delgato, the young protagonist, comes from B-DaWorld and dreams of someday becoming a professional player of B-Daman, a very popular sport in his world.
Yamato does not yet know that he is the chosen one to receive the legendary Cobalt Blade (pictured), the most sensational weapon ever made for the B-Daman, because he is the only one who has the talent to control its incredible power.

Meanwhile, an evil force plots in the dark. This is the Alliance of Shadows, which will stop at nothing to destroy the Cobalt Blade and take control of B-DaWorld. Thus, Yamato and his friends, Terry, Bull and Gray, embark on the most important journey of their lives, with the aim of becoming champions of B-Daman, fighting the mighty Allence of Shadows and at the same time having as much fun as possible.

The animated series tells the adventures of Yamato Delgado (Daiwa in the Japanese version), who obtains the legendary cobalt blade. He and his friends use the sport of B-Daman to fight the Shadow Alliance (who want to take over the world). This show takes place in the B-Da world where its inhabitants are humans, anthropomorphic animals and robots. Using the legendary B-Daman, Yamato enters the Winners tournament organized by a group (the JBA in the Japanese version and the IBA (International B-Daman Association) in the English version) to become the B-Da Champion. After the Shadow Alliance's defeat, Yamato is looking for special B-DaBalls called Strike Shots, which originated from shooting stars. After a fight with the mysterious Haja and getting her Strike Shot, the Drive Shot, Yamato met Gunnos, a rookie B-Da Player. He got his Strike Shot to participate in the Winners Tournament alongside Yamato's old friends and rivals. But little did they know, a terrible evil is about to endanger the B-Da world again.

Yamato Delgado (Daiwa Yamato )

Introduced in the first season, 5-year-old Yamato is the main character. Raised by cats until the age of XNUMX, the adoptive mother did not allow him to own a B-Daman until Cobalt Blade appeared to him one fatal night. Cobalt Blade, allegedly the best B-Daman ever made. But he is badly damaged by Cain McDonnell, one of Yamato's enemies. After its near-destruction, Cobalt Blade is rebuilt as the Cobalt Saber, the first B-Daman to use the new Blaster Core system (also known as Delta core) from Armada. This new system has made it possible to modify the very heart of the B-Daman. Yamato's special attack is Cobalt Power Blast, a powerful attack that uses the friction of the battlefield. Yamato somehow looks like a cat. Most likely it is named after the powerful Japanese battleship Yamato. In the second season of the anime and the second half of the manga, Yamato's Strike Shot is the Drive Shot for his new B-Daman called Cobalt Saber Fire, which would later be upgraded to Cobalt Blaster with the cartridge system and Stealth Drive Shot until the final episode where Cobalt Blaster transformed into Cobalt Blaster Drive Cannon with the RC system and the Legend Drive Shot. In the manga, Yamato had already started with a B-Daman named Cobalt Sword that would be upgraded to Cobalt Blade.

He's Yamato's friend and he's a tough guy. He was a member of the Shadow Alliance because he was trying to save his sister Liena from them. It uses B-Daman, Chrome Zephyr which is later upgraded to Chrome Raven, then Chrome Raven Cyclone, Chrome Harrier and then Chrome Windrush Harrier (Chrome Lancer). Gray began appearing in the first season. She is 12 years old. His attack shot is the Speed ​​Shot.

Bull Borgnine (Buru Bogunain )

Bull has three personalities: the calm and naive side, the confident side and the wild side that appears when presenting his B-Daman. This dark side remains until the end of a B-DaBattle and can enter a berserker state where it is virtually invincible. He uses the B-Daman, Helio Breaker who is later destroyed and decides to be a B-Daman mechanic. Next, create Helio Berserker and Helio Flyer that come from either the Delta Core or the Roller Core. Bull started appearing in season 1. He's 11 years old. In the first season, Bull met a girl. She only likes Bull's hyper-form and when she learned that the “calm” Taurus is the real Taurus, she lost interest in him. Later he continues to appreciate the calm, full of snot, the real Taurus. In the second season, Bull meets Akyulus and eventually befriends the silent boy. Bull is Akyulus's first ever friend. Approaching the start of the second Winners Tournament, he decides to become a full-time B-Da mechanic, vowing to make Revolver Hades the best B-Daman ever so Akyulus can use him to defeat Yamato.

Terry McScotty (Tsubakura Tsubame )

He is Yamato's fellow friend under Armada. He has a Scottish accent and uses the B-Daman, Wing Ninja which was later recreated in Wing Sword and Wing Eagle. Terry started appearing in the first season. He is 10 years old. In the second season, Terry and Joe decide to participate together in the Winners Tournament, but along the way Terry finds a Strike Shot, Random Shot. Joe believes Terry won't get better with him so he leaves, only to find that Terry follows him, not wanting him to leave. However, Haja learns of this blow all of a sudden and attacks Terry for it. The two enter battle and Haja pretends to admit defeat. Falling for his trick, Haja grabs Terry's Strike Shot and he shoots. It is initially aimed at Terry, but Joe steps in to protect his brother / pupil.

My Delgados (Daiwa Mie )

Adoptive mother of Yamato, she adopted him at the age of five. He is 22 years old. He runs a restaurant called Mie's Café, which was later changed to Mie's Cat Cafe. Since she is only one who runs her Café, she asked Liena, Armada and everyone else to help her run her Café. Then one day, she is suddenly a little feared by Armada because Armada always escapes her chores. And when she does, Mie almost becomes furious. He thought that was the way to make Armada responsible!

Liena Grace Vincent (Riena Gurēsu Binsento )

Gray's sister who was captured by the Shadow Alliance, turned into a tough B-DaBattler and Ababa had her impersonate Sigma. He always wants to be by his brother's side. He took a little sympathy for Enjyu. It had the B-Daman, Garnet Wind which was initially made for control, but added rapid fire in its Zero 2 version.
