Bonjour Marianne - the 1990 French animated series
Bonjour Marianne (Marianne 1ère) is an animated television series produced by IDDH and Antenne 2 and based on a novel by Robert Louis Stevenson.
The series is set at the end of the 15th century, when Marianne Flambelle is a XNUMX-year-old girl who arrived in La Rochelle after a trip to America. From the trip he will return with his uncle Jacques, a companion of General La Fayette, to find his parents who were lost in the clash between monarchists and republicans. However, the evil Courtard follows Marianne to find the wonderful treasure that the immigrants had entrusted to Mr. Flambelle. Fortunately, Marianne can count on the help of her true friends: John and Blue Fox. Thanks to the perfect art of sword handling, taught by her father, Marianne manages to face the most dangerous situations.
