Zoonomaly on Steam is a puzzle-based horror game set in an open-world zoo. It's a non-linear game, meaning you can follow any path to complete it. In this zoo overrun by monsters, your task is to enter, discover the cause of the monster infestation and put an end to it. To do so, you need to collect key fragments scattered around the zoo by solving puzzles in the animal enclosures. Once you have collected all the fragments, you can assemble the Master Key to unlock the source of the monster anomalies.
Explore the zoo: you are free to explore the zoo grounds, find puzzles and mazes, wandering monsters, and immerse yourself in this delightfully creepy zoo.
Stay alive: you have to try to stay alive inside the zoo. Monster anomalies of all shapes and sizes roam the terrain and CANNOT be killed. Avoid contact at all costs. When in doubt, run!
Defend yourself: you are equipped with a “Bloom O'Bang”, a deterrent that has the ability to stop any pursuing monster. It also allows you to see the invisible aura spectrum of monsters around you. Use it wisely.
Collect to win: only by collecting key fragments scattered around the zoo will you be able to unlock the source of the monster anomalies. Key Shards can be found inside the fences.
Solve puzzles: to collect a key fragment, you will have to solve a puzzle inside each fence. These puzzles are scattered around the zoo and must be solved to obtain each key fragment.
