Ragdoll's BOT and the Beasties will debut January 11 in the UK

The new 2D cartoons of BOT and the Beasties, full of stupidity, games and inventions are ready to be passed on to children in the UK. BOT and the Beasties  will make its debut on the Cbeebies channel on Monday 11 January. The latest series from Ragdoll Productions' award-winning children's television producers will air weekdays at 10:50 am after the premiere.

The series consisting of 50 episodes of 5 'is aimed at preschoolers and tells the adventures of an adorable robot called BOT (Beastie's Observation Transmitter) as he discovers new worlds and all sorts of new Beasts that inhabit them. BOT must collect data on comically unpredictable Beasties - the mission isn't always easy, but always a lot of fun!

The show begins with a series of bizarre Beasties from five different worlds and each episode offers a wonderful narrative as BOT embarks on an exhilarating journey of discovery of Beastie.

Through the production of BOT and the Beasties, Ragdoll has launched the professional debut of four excellent young animators and two layout artists, all hailing from the Midlands region of England, where the Stratford-upon-Avon studio is based.

Ragdoll Productions, a privately owned family business, was founded by Anne Wood in 1984 and has produced more than 1.500 internationally acclaimed children's programs, including the BAFTA winner Teletubbies, broadcast in more than 120 countries and territories around the world; the double winner of the BAFTA In the night garden; BAFTA Winner Dipdap; winner of the RTS NW Award Twistywoos; is The adventures of Abney and Teal, Rosie and Jim, Brum and internationally awarded Open a door.

In September 2013 Ragdoll Worldwide, a joint venture with BBC Worldwide, was acquired by WildBrain, a major Canadian broadcaster, distributor and manufacturer, and now owns the rights to the first Ragdoll catalog, including Teletubbies e In the night garden.
