Inspired by a classic fairytale, Disney's Cinderella movie brings timeless images of Disney's 1950s animated masterpiece to life. spectators.

The new Disney film Cinderella tells the story of a young girl (Lily James) daughter of a merchant. After her mother's death, her father remarries and she welcomes her stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters, Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Genoveffa (Sophie McShera) into the house to show her affection. But when her father suddenly dies, Cinderella finds herself at the mercy of three jealous and wicked women. Relegated as a servant covered in ashes and rags, Cinderella could easily lose all hope. Instead, despite the cruelty to which she is a victim, she only wishes to honor the words spoken by her mother on her deathbed, who advised her to "have courage and be kind". The young girl does not intend to despair or despise those who mistreat her. And then there's the charming stranger he meets in the woods. Without knowing that it is a prince, and not a simple apprentice of the Royal Palace, Cinderella feels that she has met her soulmate. And when the royals invite all the maidens of the kingdom to attend a ball, she hopes that her fate is finally about to change and that she will once again be able to meet the charming prince (Richard Madden).
Unfortunately, her stepmother forbids her to go to the prom, tearing her the dress she was supposed to wear. But as in all respectable fairy tales, someone comes to help: a kind beggar (Helena Bonham Carter) comes forward and, with a pumpkin and a few mice, will change Cinderella's life forever.

Directed by Academy Award-nominated director Kenneth Branagh (Thor, Hamlet) and starring Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine, Elizabeth), Lily James (Downton Abbey), Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) and the actress Academy Award® nominee
Helena Bonham-Carter (The King's Speech, Alice in Wonderland), the Disney film Cinderella is produced by Simon Kinberg (X-Men - Days of Future Past, Elysium), Allison Shearmur (Hunger Games: Maiden of Fire) and David Barron (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), while the screenplay is by Chris Weitz (About a Boy, The Golden Compass).
