Crunchyroll and Fuji TV will bring more TV anime

Crunchyroll and the Japanese television network Fuji TV announce a partnership that will bring fans more anime, through the development and production of new series. These titles will be broadcast in Japan on Fuji TV's + Ultra programming block and streamed on Crunchyroll in more than 200 countries and territories.

Through this partnership, Crunchyroll will work with Fuji TV and the all-round creative company Slow Curve to develop and co-produce a series series starting April 2022. The upcoming lineup includes:

  • Stab Life - An original title from successful producer and director Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion)
  • A new project by the famous mangaka Tsutomu Nihei (Aposimz, Knight of Sidonia, GUILT!) and polygonal images

Crunchyroll will stream exclusively every day and date of the series with the premiere on + Ultra, Fuji TV's midnight anime block launched in October 2018, offering world-class anime titles to viewers in Japan. The series will be streamed on Crunchyroll to the brand's global community of over five million subscribers and over 120 million registered users. Crunchyroll will also manage the licensing and consumer product rights for every title worldwide outside Asia.

Fuji TV and Crunchyroll are currently teaming up Muv-Luv alternative, the highly anticipated anime based on a hit game that follows the bonds between those who fight, in a world pushed to its limits. This series will examine how humanity lives and dies on the brink of extinction. Starting in October, Fuji TV's + Ultra block will broadcast the series and Crunchyroll will stream the series exclusively worldwide outside Asia.

Slow Curve is an integrated creative company that has been involved in content planning and promotion of various popular anime series. The company will work with Fuji TV and Crunchyroll to create anime for fans around the world.
