Cocky (Arrogant) the new animated series from Fox

A new animated comedy by Jack Amiel and Michael Begler (creators / executive producers of The Knick) has joined Fox's ever-growing cartoon development list. Entitled Cockey (Presumptuous), the concept centers on Bert, an arrogant rental car driver with a Ph.D. and the consequences he faces, living with the world's most insecure and overly sensitive talking cockatoo.

Amiel and Begler are writing and executive producer along with Academy Award winner Michael Sugar (Spotlight, The Knick, The OA). Cockey (Presumptuous) is a co-production of Fox Entertainment and its animation studio Bento Box Entertainment (Bob's Burgers). The series marks the first foray into animation for all three EPs. In addition to the Emmy winning series The Knick, Amiel and Begler's writing and production credits include Minor Adjustments, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, Raising Helen and 2006 The Shaggy Dog.
