Universal and DreamWorks Animation have released the trailer for the second season of the hit series produced by Netflix Original, . In this series the adventures of the episodes will be set in Rio de Janeiro.

The animated series Fast & Furious: Undercover pilots (Fast & Furious Spy Racers) premiered on Netflix on December 26, 2019, based on Gary Scott Thompson's Fast & Furious film series. The series is produced by Tim Hedrick, Bret Haaland, Vin Diesel, Neal Moritz and Chris Morgan. Hedrick and Haaland are also the showrunners of the show.

The second season, Fast & Furious: Undercover Drivers - Journey to Rio will be released on October 9, 2020 on Netflix.

History

In this animated series inspired by Universal films Fast & Furious: Undercover Drivers - Journey to Rio, we find teenager Tony Toretto following in the footsteps of his cousin Dom, when he and his friends are recruited by a government agency to infiltrate an elite racing league. This serves as a cover for a criminal underworld, which wants to take over the world.

In Fast & Furious: Undercover Drivers - Journey to Rio, Tony and his crew embark on their first international mission to Brazil. Once in Rio, they discover that Layla Gray, the latest and formidable recruit, Ms. Nowhere's colleague went missing on an undercover mission. Not wanting to leave family behind, Tony and the Spy Racers don secret identities to find Layla, but end up uncovering a sinister plot.
