Jorge Gutierrez expands creative animation partnership with Netflix

Netflix today announced a partnership with Emmy-winning, Golden Globe-nominated animator, painter, writer, director, Jorge Gutierrez and his production company Mexopolis for original content. Gutierrez will write, direct and produce new animated films, series and interactive animation projects for preschool, children and families, and for adults.

Gutierrez is the creator, writer and director of the upcoming animated limited series Maya and the Three, a Mesoamerican fantasy epic that will have its world premiere in 2021.

Jorge Gutierrez is a Mexican animator, painter, writer and director.
