The cicada and the ant is an Aesop's fable, also adapted by Jean de La Fontaine.
What the series is about?
During the summer the ant worked hard, saving up supplies for the winter. Instead the cicada all day did nothing but sing. Winter arrived and the ant had something to eat, as it had accumulated a lot of food during the summer. The cicada began to feel the pangs of hunger, so she went to the ant to ask if she could give her something to eat. The ant asked her: “I have worked hard to accumulate all of this; instead, what did you do during the summer? " "I sang," replied the cicada. The ant then exclaimed: "So now dance!"
Moral: whoever does nothing, obtains nothing.
