Launch of the Crowdfunding Project for an anime film based on the book Sfinksi go Robotti by Leena Krohn - News


The painter Anzu Kanie will be co-director of the project with the launch scheduled for 2022


On Saturday, the Motion Gallery website launched a crowdfunding project to fund an anime film project based on Finnish author Leena Krohn. Sfinksi go Robotti (Sphinx or robot) book. The launch of the book in Japan is titled Sphinx ka Robot kaand contains three works, including the Taiyo no Kodomo-tachi (Children of the Sun) novel that will inspire souls.

The project aims to raise 10 million yen (approximately US $ 91.300). The project raised 212.000 yen (approximately US $ 1.934) as of press time.

Painter Anzu Kanie is responsible for the film. He will co-direct the film and is in the process of selecting a co-director and studio. The crowdfunding campaign prizes include postcards, a documentary DVD, and an invitation to a screening party. Kanie plans to start showing the film at international film festivals in February 2022, and plans to open the film in Japan in the summer of 2022.
