The new trailer for The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye

The staff of the animated film Natsu and no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi, young adult novel by Mei Hachimoku e Flower, unveiled a new trailer for the film. The video previews the song "Final"Of the singer-songwriter Eill.

There is an urban legend about the Urashima Tunnel: no one knows where it is, but if someone finds it, they can ask him anything. However, time passes differently inside the tunnel, and once you get out, it turns out that you have aged.
Kaoru is a teenager with a difficult life; his days are marked by the time spent together with his only friend and by the errands he carries out for the "queen bee" of his class. He lives with his father, who turned to alcohol following the death of his youngest daughter, while his mother abandoned them shortly after that tragic accident. But Kaoru doesn't complain about his life nor is he angry, and when he stumbles upon the Urashima Tunnel he knows exactly what wish to ask: for his sister to come back to life.

The film will be released in Japan on September 9th.

The full cast will consist of Ōji Suzuka who will play Kaoru Tono and Marie Iitoyo will be the voice of Anzu Hanaki.
Furthermore, tasuku hatanaka will play Shohei Kaga, Kaoru's friend.
Arisa komiya plays Koharu Kawasaki, Anzu's aggressive classmate.
Haruki Terui will be Kaouru and Anzu's teacher, Hamamoto-sensei.
Rikiya Koyama will play Kaoru's father and Seiran Kobayashi will be his younger sister, Karen Tono.

Tomohisa Taguchi (Bleach: Sennen Kessen Hen) will direct the film at the studio CLAP (Eiga Daisuki Pompo-san) and will also be scriptwriter and storyboarder, as well as production manager together with Kanji Miyake. Tomomi Yabuki (director of animation of Eiga Daisuki Pompo-san) is the character designer and principal director of animation, Yabuki he is also part of the animation management team together with  Seiji Tachikawa, Michio Hasegawa e Yasuhisa Kato.
harumi (My Love Mix Up!, Forest of Piano) will compose the music for the film.

Hachimoku released the light novel in 2019, featuring illustrations by Flower. The novel touched the ninth position in the category bunkobons of the 2020 edition of the guide Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi by Takarajimasha.
