Piggsburg Pigs! – The 1990 animated series
Piggsburg Pigs is an animated children's TV series broadcast on Fox Kids channels and produced by Ruby-Spears Productions.
The series aired in 1990 and features a plot that revolves around the town of Piggsburg, inhabited exclusively by pigs. The protagonists of the series are the Bacon brothers, Bo, Portley and Pighead, along with their pet duck Quackers, who constantly find themselves fighting against the evil plans of the carnivorous wolves Huff and Puff and the supernatural forces of the Forbidden Zone outside of Piggsburg . Other porcine friends of the Bacon brothers include Dotty, Lorelei, children Piggy, Pokey and Prissy, and the cocky Rembrandt Proudpork.
The series consists of 13 episodes and has received critical acclaim for its humor and gripping plot. With a talented voice cast, including Tara Strong, Len Carlson, Jonathan Potts and many others, Piggsburg Pigs became a huge hit in both the United States and Canada.
Unfortunately, the series has not been released on VHS or DVD in the US, but a 3-DVD set containing 2 episodes each was released by Boulevard Entertainment in the UK in 2007.
Piggsburg Pigs has left a lasting impression on the world of children's animation and is still loved by fans of all ages. With its engaging comedy and unforgettable characters, the series remains a mainstay of children's programming.

Plot: Set behind the largest pig farm in the world, the town of Piggsburg is a habitat only for pigs. Here, the Bacon brothers: Bo, Portley and Pighead together with their pet duck Quackers fight against the evil plans of the carnivorous wolves Huff and Puff, as well as supernatural forces from the Forbidden Zone outside of Piggsburg. When they're not fighting evil plans, the kids relax on nearby Newpork Beach.
