Poochini (also known as Poochini's Yard) is a short animated television series that originally premiered worldwide on February 2, 2000, but did not air in the United States until September 7, 2002. The series follows the life of a dog Black-eared gray mutt named Poochini who runs away from home after the death of his wealthy owner, is captured from the pound and adopted by an average American family.

Despite being created and co-produced by San Francisco-based entertainment company Wild Brain, Poochini was not broadcast in the United States for over two years after its production. Co-produced and distributed internationally by Munich-based media group EM.TV and distributed by The Television Syndication Company for syndication in the United States, Poochini is based on the award-winning pilot short film titled A Dog Cartoon (1999).

Poochini only made 26 episodes, with the last one airing in the United States on March 1, 2003. The series aired in syndication, on the WB 100+ group of stations in the United States, on Teletoon in Canada, Nickelodeon in America Latina, ITV1 (CITV) in the United Kingdom, TG4 (Cúla4) in Ireland, Télétoon+ (formerly Télétoon) and TF1 (TF!
