The series will premiere on September 30 on Tokyo MX, MBS and BS11 channels, and will have the privilege of starting with an hour-long episode. Fans will also have the opportunity to attend an advance screening on September 2 at the Shinjuku Piccadilly cinema, featuring some of the cast members.

Directed by Ken Takahashi, known for works such as “Butlers x Battlers” and “Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!”. Responsibility for the script was entrusted to Deco Akao, mastermind behind titles such as "Amanchu!", "Arakawa Under the Bridge" and "Noragami". Shinpei Aoki, key animator on the “Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya” franchise, is responsible for bringing the characters to life through design. The soundtrack features Kōji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki composing, while the opening song “ROAR” will be performed by ulma sound junction.

The stellar cast includes renowned voices such as Chiaki Kobayashi, Ayumu Murase, Inori Minase and many more. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series, guaranteeing its circulation.

The setting of the manga, published in English by Square Enix Manga & Books, immerses us in the world of dragon hunters: warriors armed with special silver weapons who hunt these creatures for bounty. Ragna, the humblest of them, strikes an unlikely alliance with the young genius Leonica, one of the deadliest dragon slayers ever. But an attack by an unpredictably powerful dragon disrupts their plans…

Daiki Kobayashi launched the manga in Gangan Joker in March 2017. In 2021, Square Enix had hinted that the manga was approaching its "final battle". Confirming expectations, the manga began its final arc with the 11th volume, released in August 2022.

It is clear that “Ragna Crimson” is a title that promises excitement and adventure. We are eagerly awaiting its premiere and are confident that it will win the hearts of anime lovers around the world.
