Japan, Tokugawa period, in Edo (ancient name of Tokyo) the young Fu works in an inn, Mugen is a homeless swordsman while Jin is a ronin or a samurai without a master. When Mugen starts a fight in the inn where Fuu works and also Jin who just wanted to grab a bite, he gets involved in spite of her ... the three get acquainted in this "turbulent" context. It will then be for an absurd bet that they decide to travel in search of the mysterious samurai who smells of sunflowers.
