“Star Wars: Vision” the next anthology series in Japanese anime style

Disney + unveiled the trailer and announced the cast of voice actors in Japanese and English for Star Wars: Vision, an upcoming Lucasfilm anthology series, which tells new stories of Star Wars through the style and tradition of Japanese anime. Disney + has also released four new images from the trailer.

The new trailer offers a preview of the eye-catching tone and stunning visuals of each of the animated shorts, which can be viewed with both the original dub cast and the English cast when the series launches on Disney + on September 22.

"Lucasfilm is partnering with seven of the most talented anime studios in Japan to bring their signature style and unique vision of the Star Wars galaxy to this new inspired series," said James Waugh, Lucasfilm Executive Producer and Vice President, Franchise Content. & Strategy. “Their stories show the whole spectrum of bold narratives found in Japanese animation; each tells with a freshness and a voice that broaden our understanding of what the story is about Star Wars it can be, and celebrates a galaxy that has been the inspiration for so many visionary storytellers ”.

The English dub includes voice actors, actors and new talent from the Star Wars universe:
