Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night and My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission

Funimation, the market leader in anime worldwide, together with partner Aniplex of America, will broadcast the brand new cinematic adventure  Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night, part of the official canon of the long-running anime series.

The film will be released in theaters and on IMAX screens on December 3 in the United States and Canada (tickets on sale November 5); December 9 in Australia and New Zealand (tickets go on sale November 9); and soon in the UK, Ireland and Latin America. The film will be released in both Japanese with English subtitles and dubbed in English.

Based on the original story by Reki Kawahara (Dengeki Bunko), Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night returns to the beginning of the saga, where players find themselves trapped inside the world's first VRMMORPG, Sword Art Online, with no way out. The film introduces the story through Asuna's perspective as she struggles to face the reality of her new world and her fateful encounter with Kirito. The film also introduces a new mysterious character, Myth, but not much is known about her.

The film is directed by Ayako Kono with the animation production of A-1 Pictures. The cast includes Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Japanese voice) / Bryce Papenbrook (English voice) as Kirito, Haruka Tomatsu (Japanese voice) / Cherami Leigh (English voice) as Asuan and Inori Minase (Japanese voice) as Mito.

Meanwhile, fans of Deku and co. are preparing for the arrival at the cinema of My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission (My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission) this month. Tickets are on sale today in the US and Canada on Fandango.com; from 5 October in Australia and New Zealand; and from 8 October for the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The film, screened with both English subtitles and dubbing, hits over 1.500 theaters in the United States and Canada on 29 October; in the UK and Ireland (29 October); Australia, New Zealand and South Africa (October 28), and soon to Latin America (in Spanish and Portuguese). The film is released on November 11 in Denmark, Norway and Iceland. with tickets on sale from 8 October; opens in Sweden on 29 October and will soon arrive in Finland through Funimation Global Group's Wakanim, all with subtitles in English and the corresponding language of each country (except Iceland).

Not only will fans be able to see the anime blockbuster for the first time on opening weekend, but Funimation is also giving away a My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission Vol. W Specialty Manga Booklet to ticket holders in the United States and Canada on the opening weekend. The 76-page collector's book offers an unprecedented look into the making of the film, including original character drawings from manga creator Kohei Horikoshi along with a question and answer. It also includes a special manga. Limit of one book per ticket holder, while stocks last.

In My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission (My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission), UA High school students Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo face biggest crisis in My academic hero story, with only two hours to save the world! During their internship with number one agency Pro Hero Endeavor, Deku and his new friend Rody find themselves wanted nationwide for a crime they didn't commit. Will Deku and his friends be able to stop Humarise's global plans to eliminate all the Quirks? This film has not yet been rated.

My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission (My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission) is the third film by My Hero Academia and comes in the wake of the series' fifth season launch My Hero Academia  currently streaming on Funimation. The two previous films are My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising (2020) and My Hero Academia: Two Heroes (2018)
