The manga

To Your Eternity (Japanese: 不滅のあなたへ, Hepburn: Fumetsu no Anata e, lit. “To You, the Immortal”) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshitoki Ōima. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine since November 2016, with individual chapters collected by Kodansha into eighteen tankōbon volumes as of September 2022. The story is about an immortal being, Fushi, who takes on multiple forms and freely uses each other's natural abilities at will , including that of an abandoned white-haired boy and his white wolf, in order to further evolve and challenge as he learns what it means to truly be human over the decades and centuries.

Ōima, inspired by her grandmother's death, aimed to write about survival and the character Fushi, who is initially an emotionless stone but gradually develops a self and personality as a result of interacting with humans, young and old. In contrast to his previous effort, A Silent Voice, To Your Eternity focuses little on the past of the cast but instead on the future.

To Your Eternity was well received in Japan, earning it many awards and major sales. Critical response to the series' debut was positive, based on the emotional focus on the villagers and Fushi to the point of frequently achieving perfect scores. Despite some skeptical comments on later chapters lacking the same impact, Fushi's ongoing character arc was praised while Ōima's artistry enjoyed positive reviews due to her detailed facial expressions and environments. An anime television series adaptation of the manga, produced by Brain's Base, aired from April to August 2021 on Japan's NHK Educational TV; a second season produced by Drive premiered in October 2022. In North America, the manga is licensed by Kodansha USA for a digital and print English release.

An anime television adaptation aired from April 12 to August 30, 2021 on NHK Educational TV. A second season airs from October 23, 2022.
