"Denis and Me", the cartoon by YouTuber Denis Kopotun, will be released on December 4th on Crave
Headspinner Productions has announced the first season of the animated series "Denis and Me ", featuring YouTuber personality Denis Kopotun (DENIS), will debut exclusively on Crave on Friday, December 4 as part of WOW's WOW Unlimited Media! World Kids collection on Crave.
Kopotun's DENIS channel currently has over 8,8 million subscribers and more than 3 billion views, thanks to its game-centric, family-friendly content loved by kids and teens in Canada, the United States and around the world . The video of Denis and me which features the animated series, has already garnered over 1,25 million views.
The authors
Created and written by Diana Moore and Denis Kopotun, with Moore as Showrunner, Denis and me is produced by Michelle Melanson and Ken Cuperus of Headspinner Productions.
The story of "Denis and Me"
The 2D animated short film series tells the not-so-true, but funny story of a boy named Denis and his crazy cat / best friend Sir Meows A Lot. The episodes were animated at Cartoon Conrad in Nova Scotia and funding for the first 10 episodes was provided by the Canada Media Fund and the Shaw Rocket Fund.
The broadcast of "Denis and Me"
For viewers outside of Canada, new episodes will be released daily on Denis and Me's official YouTube channel starting November 28. World Territories are still available through Wildbrain Distribution. Season II is currently in development with the production of another 20 short films scheduled for early 2021.
