Disney-Pixar's “Soul” film will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on March 23

Directed by Oscar winner Pete Docter (Inside Out, Up), co-directed by Kemp Powers (One night in Miami) and produced by Oscar nominee Dana Murray, pga (Pixar short Lou), Disney and Pixar Soul will be available in digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on March 23.

The digital and physical versions of the animated film Soul will include exclusive, never-before-seen deleted scenes and audio commentary from Docter, Powers and Murray. Additionally, fans will be able to find the film packaged as a collectible SteelBook on Best Buy and packaged with a limited edition gallery book at Target.

Awarded winner of the American Film Institute's Film of the Year award and winner of the National Board of Review's Best Animated Film, as well as being included in its list of Best Movies and Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, Soul is “an animated film suitable for all ages” (Jazzie Belle, Vibe.com) loved by both critics and audiences.

Synopsis: Jamie Foxx leads a stellar cast in this fun, heart-filled adventure. Disney and Pixar Soul introduces Joe, who gets the gig of his life at the best jazz club in town. But one misstep leads Joe to a great place: The Great Before. There, he teams up with Soul 22 (Tina Fey) and together they find answers to some of life's biggest questions.

The voice cast also includes Phylicia Rashad, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, Angela Bassett, Daveed Diggs, Graham Norton, Rachel House, Alice Braga, Richard Ayoade, Wes Studi, Fortune Feimster, Zenobia Shroff, Donnell Rawlings and June Squibb. The film features an original score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, with jazz compositions / arrangements by Jon Batiste.
