Nick Jr.'s first Spanish-language channel is broadcast on YouTube

Nickelodeon International today announced the launch of a new YouTube channel, Nick Jr. in Spanish. The channel, which is now live, features content tailored to a worldwide Spanish-speaking audience and includes content in both Latin American and Castilian Spanish.

Nick Jr. en Español presents IP-based content in abbreviated form from the properties and most beloved Nick Jr. characters, such as PAW Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Top Wing, Dora and Friends, Rusty Rivets and more.

"We are so excited to bring our iconic Nickelodeon content to global Spanish-speaking audiences around the world with the launch of our new YouTube channel, Nick Jr. en Español," said Kate Sils, Vice President, Digital and Multiplatform, ViacomCBS Networks International. "Nickelodeon is committed to being wherever the kids are and the launch of this channel is an extension of our commitment to find new ways to connect audiences with our brand and characters."

The launch of Nick Jr. en Español follows the success of Nick Jr. em Português, the brand's Portuguese-language YouTube channel, which was launched in October 2020 and received 60,5 million video views and 360,5 million of minutes watched to date (range: Oct 14, 2020-Jan 12, 2021).
